Thanks WD! I knew that someone on this forum has gone there with the muffler mod.
Recently, I got lucky and got to visit the "inner sanctum" of what I thought was a litle MC salvage operation nearby (Steve's cycle salvage in Dellwood/Waynesville, NC) WOW!! this guy has more than 4,000 bikes in various stages of wreck - all piled & jumbled in a huge old barn. Most of them are unrecognizable. Steve is a really great guy, has a construction business for income and buys wrecked bikes and all manner of other vehicular collectibles as a hobby. He hates to part with just about anything, but will liquefy stuff when he needs quick cash.
I'm sure that he has a dyna muffler, Thanks for the tip.
